The recent Revival at Asbury in Wilmore Kentucky, reminds all of us of the importance of allowing God to use our Youth/NXT Generation of Christ Followers. Later this year, I will be celebrating my 50th Year as a Christ Follower! I thank God for my youth and children’s ministry leaders (Both are still living), for their commitment to raising up next generation leaders. Today, there are new individuals committed to raising up a new generation of Christ followers. I thank God for them!
RW Moody, who leads our NXT Generation Ministry for Kids and Students, along with his taskforce, are deeply committed to supporting, training, and praying for your church’s Children and Youth leaders. At “Start Fresh” they will be hosting three sessions designed to equip our leaders to grow healthy and thriving ministries. Senior Adult Track – C1 & C2
Start Fresh would like to welcome our Senior Adult Track presenters, Barbara Thornton-Smith, Rev. Vernon Maddox and Rev. Diane Thatcher. The challenges of today have many senior adults feeling like they are living an “Invisible” life. Challenges such as “Mobility” and “Loneliness”.
Rev. Vernon Maddox will discuss living with grief and how to be fruitful and live productive lives as single individuals. READ MORE
Rev. Diane Thatcher will assist Rev. Maddox during this session. She serves as the Connections Pastor for Meadow Park Church and oversee their “GriefShare” Ministry.

Start Fresh is excited to introduce to you our newest leaders in the area of Pastor Spouse Coordinators. Lori and Joy are looking forward sharing their journey and seeing our Pastor spouses to discuss new beginnings. Start Fresh encourages all staff pastor spouses to attend Track I-1 or I-2 for a time of sharing and pampering! 
Lori Roe – wife of Lead Pastor, Matt Roe (Maiden Lane, Springfield). Lori and Matt have been married for 30 years and have been his full-time partner in ministry for 29 years.
Joy Moody – wife of Lead Pastor R.W. Moody (First, Church of God, Miamisburg). Joy and RW have been married almost 24 years. They met in college and have been inseparable ever since.
Chris Cottrell will continue to work with this team as more and more men are becoming their wife’s pastor spouse.
